Extension of ASCAT Ocean Surface Wind

The ocean surface wind vector data set based on ASCAT satellite observations, produced by REMSS (version v02.1), has been extended. It comes with daily temporal and 0.25 degree spatial resolution and is now available until including June 2021:

Extension of MODIS land cover type

We extended the TERRA/AQUA-MODIS Land Cover Type product MCD12C1. It is now available for years 2001 through 2023 as annual maps with 0.05 degrees grid resolution; for more information see:
