Upgrade of GLEAM evaporation parameters v4.2 to v4.3

Data of the Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model (GLEAM) have been updated from GLEAM version v4.2a to GLEAM version v4.3a and extended by data for the year 2025.  The period covered is 1980-01-01 through 2025-12-31 with daily and monthly temporal resolution:

Extension of MODIS atmospheric properties

We extended the MODIS TERRA and AQUA atmospheric property data sets: temperature profiles, water vapor, precipitable water, various cloud properties such as cloud fraction, cloud top pressure, etc. These global level-3 data sets are extracted from MOD08_D3 and MYD08_D3 data sets and come with 1 degree x 1 degree grid...

Extension of MODIS atmospheric properties

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS  aerosol properties data sets containing parameters such as concentration of aerosol optical depth derived with the deep blue and/or dark target approaches. These global level-3 data sets are extracted from MOD08_D3 and MYD08_D3 data sets and come with 1 degree x 1 degree grid resolution...

Extension of MODIS snow cover

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS snow cover data sets, version 6.1, until including April 2026. These global data sets come at 0.05 degree grid resolution and daily as well as monthly temporal resolution for the period March 2000 (Terra) and July 2002 (Aqua) through April 2026. Extension of MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST)

We extended the Terra and Aqua MODIS land surface temperature (LST) data sets. These global data sets come at monthly and daily temporal and with 0.05 degree grid resolution and cover years 2000 (2002 for Aqua) through March 2026. For more information see:

The Integrated Climate Data Center (ICDC) allows easy access to climate relevant data from in-situ measurements and satellite remote sensing. These data are important to determine the status and the changes in the climate system. Additionally some relevant re-analysis data are included, which are modeled on the basis of observational data.
